The Furniture and Home System Cluster is the consortium dedicated to the development of the Furniture and Home System of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, with the objective of achieving projects in favour of the companies in the furniture and home system sector, whose scope includes all the activities of planning, production and sale of products that are counted in the domestic environment and contract sector.
The consortium currently numbers the principal operators in the local economic sector: Confindustria, Federlegno, Confartigianati, ConfAPI, regional CNAs, members of the local banking system and other territorial realities, including the Industrial Zone of Udine and UdineGorizia Trade Fairs.
The Furniture Cluster is organised with a capillary presence throughout the territory: it has its head offices in San Giovanni al Natisone, where it leads the Chair District, and has offices in Brugnera for the Furniture District, Tolmezzo for the Home Wood District and Buttrio where its operating offices are located.
Within the Cluster there are two main visions that cohabitate, both recognised and identified on the basis of respective regional laws:
Two industrial districts operate in the regional territory:
The Chair District is a production cluster located in Northeast Italy, specialising in the production of chairs, and furnishing accessories.
The Livenza Furniture District is located between the Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto regions, across the Livenza River. It includes several types of furniture, such as kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and other furniture.
