In Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Maritime Technology Cluster FVG operates in the maritime technology sector. This acts in support of the implementation of the regional strategy for research and innovation.
Regarding capacity building, there is the Professional Technical Centre for the Sea Economy, which brings together local education and training entities and scientific and industrial stakeholders to support the matching between the offer of employment and the skills of the new generations.
The regional Blue economy sector is also benefiting from the widespread commercial and tourist port system, with a truly comprehensive service offering.
